A safe, respectful and developing tournament environment for everyone. NEXTGEN should be a place where players, coaches, referees, officials and everyone travelling with the team feel welcome and respected – both on and off the pitch.
Safety
Everyone should be able to feel safe throughout the tournament weekend. We do not accept bullying, harassment, discrimination, threats or other abuse.
Respect
We treat players, coaches, referees, officials and spectators with respect – whatever the result, level, background or team.
Enjoyment & development
Football should be enjoyable and developing. We want to create an environment where players get to compete, be challenged and still leave the tournament with good memories.
How we work with our values
- We follow the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child and Swedish sport's guidelines for children's and youth sport.
- Our officials and representatives are briefed on NEXTGEN's values and on how any incidents are to be handled.
- We have procedures for receiving, assessing and acting on concerns, abuse or inappropriate behaviour during the tournament weekend.
- Alcohol, drugs and tobacco use are not accepted in direct connection with the players' activities or accommodation.
- We work to make sure every team and participant is treated with the same respect and given equivalent conditions.

If you see or experience anything that does not feel right during a NEXTGEN tournament, we want you to tell us. Speak to the tournament management or to any of our officials on site, and we will help you further.
